About
This blog is an accountability project for me. Since the end of my first year of law school, I have been promising myself that I would get back to a regular writing and reading practice, and I never have. I let myself get consumed in law school, in my first job out of law school, and now in life at my firm. But I can't spend the rest of my career only writing and reading with the purpose of billing clients. So as I approach 2025 and 30 years old, I decided I needed to something to get my ass in a chair and work on the ideas that I've put off. I decided to do a blog, with the plan of posting at least one thing per week, even if it's only 500 words, and I picked Ghost as the platform because I hoped paying to maintain the blog would keep me going.
